Their factory is located in Cortez, Colorado USA and they build over 700 boutique, premium quality single strings and upwards of 300 packaged sets for acoustic, electric and classical guitar, acoustic and electric bass guitar, mandolin, banjo, bajo sexto and quinto, plus other instruments.

Curt Mangan Strings are a "small company' dedicated to making great strings with "big tone" and believe in proudly building only hand-crafted strings in small batches.

ABOUT CURT MANGAN

Curt has over 50-years of history with the guitar and nearly 40-years experience in the string industry. He still plays and records professionally.

His experience goes beyond string making including owning music stores, building and repairing guitars, teaching lessons and he was Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the world’s largest string companies for seventeen years. Curt has worked directly with many of the world's most recognizable artists.
