THE ALBUM

Multi-instrumentalists husband & wife Starlite & Campbell are set to release their exciting third studio album STARLITE.ONE on independent label Supertone Records on Friday 1st September 2023.

STARLITE.ONE is a concept album built on honest emotion. Guitar riffs that rock, melodic bass, dynamic drums, analogue synth soundscapes, heartfelt melody and double vocal harmonies
STARLITE.ONE can be described as Art Rock, Prog Rock, Psych Rock, all with a distinctly British sound
STARLITE.ONE features Hugo Danin on drums, one of the finest drummers in Europe with everything else played by Starlite & Campbell.

STARLITE.ONE was recorded at the Supertone Studio, Samora Correia, Portugal on BETTY, the 48-channel CADAC analog mixing console along with a host of vintage outboard & microphones, synthesisers, valve amplifiers and of course, a pile of guitars & basses.

Starlite & Campbell spent many months exploring a totally new direction, experimenting with new sounds and creating the arrangements.

You will hear a delight of analogue synthesisers from the Sequential Prophet-5 and Tempest, MOOG Matriarch, Minitaur and Opus 3 plus unique sounds created in the Supertone laboratory.

THE SINGLE - 'SAVING ME'

The opening track from STARLITE.ONE was the first single to be release from the album on July 7th, 2023.

When Suzy Starlite and Simon Campbell accidentally fell in love in 2013, they knew that they wanted a shared musical adventure together and decided to go on the road as touring musicians living in Europe.

Starlite was born in Ross on Wye, Herefordshire and Campbell in Bury, Greater Manchester.

They have resided in the Isle of Man, France, Spain and Germany and initially sold everything that wasn’t related to music (including their flat) to buy enough gear to be able to open their own world-class vintage analogue semi-mobile recording studio.

Move to 2023 and they are now based in Samora Correia, Portugal, half an hour north of the capital Lisboa.
